SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Dianna Gale Smith, 63, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Brian Opbroek officiating. Interment will follow in Gloster Trinity Cemetery in Gloster, LA.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the funeral home.

Gale was born July 23, 1946 in Shreveport, LA to W.M. Sizemore and Ruth Marie Nunley. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She never met a stranger and was truly one of God's angels. She loved to cook from simple dinners to her famous candy. Gale will be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Terrie Smith Fortner and brother, Edwin Sizemore. She is survived by her husband, Robert R. Smith; son, Robby Smith and wife Treva; grandchildren, Tyler, Kaleigh, and Tristan Smith; brother, Mike Sizemore and wife Mary; sister, Betty Luker and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Robby Smith, Wayne Smith, Bill Smith, Dewayne Smith, Jessie Fortner, Mike Sizemore and Darrell Luker. Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel 687-1256
