Obituary of Irene L. Crofton

Memorial services will be held for Irene Crofton on Saturday, July]6, 2013 at 12:30 PM at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. She passed away in The Woodlands, Texas on June 30, 2013 at the age of 89. Irene Louise (Whitney) Crofton was born on April 14, 2014 to Mary and Elmer Whitney in Leominster, Massachusetts. She very much loved her family and friends and will be missed by all that was touch by her life. Irene was very active in the Homemakers Club, Story Tellers Club, 4-H Club and love playing Bunco with friends in Conroe Texas. Irene owned the successful Real Estate Company called Crofton Realty on Loop 336 in Conroe Texas in the late 70's and early 80's. Irene and her late husband Joe Crofton loved to travel to Mexico and Belize in their motor home and entertaining friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Crofton: sisters, Dorothy Cosenza and Gladys Charron; brothers, Earl, William and Paul Whitney. She is survived by her sons Randal Crofton of The Woodlands, Texas; Jay Crofton and wife Milli Crofton of Belize, Central America; her grandson Cory Crofton and wife Cheryl and her great grandchildren, Sydney and Connor Crofton of Houston, Texas; her sister, Claire Damery of Seminole, Florida and brother, Carl Whitney of Randolph, Massachusetts.
