"One dark rainy night a man rode up & asked for her & told her she was needed but would not tell her where. She was blindfolded & told to ask no questions. They rode till morning & arrived at a fine home. The girl was a lovely, young blond. Her baby was born & a negro woman took it away. They brought her back the same way - she never knew or would not tell who they were." She died in 1885 in Caldwell County Texas.

Currently, we have about 224 cousins and close family friends on our Face Book “Family Of Cousin’s” group. If you haven’t joined as yet and choose to do so, then please let me know. This is a good way for cousins to share pictures, music, genealogy, and stories not only with their own children but our grandchildren too.  I’ve been trying to get all the extended family together on face book;  since we did not have a family reunion this year.    Thank you.
