"Little Billy" Samford and Barbara Rebecca Snider Samford.

Ruben Smith, 90, of the Arcadia Community, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Holiday Nursing Center. He was born November 20, 1919 in Arcadia to J.F. Smith and Josephine King Smith. For 60 years Mr. Smith had been a member of the Arcadia Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, January 1, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Mr. Tom Barthel and Mr. Bo Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Shelby County.

Pallbearers will be James Sigler, Aaron Golden, Calvin Ruben Smith, Jr. Michael Adolph Smith, Mike Hanson and Timothy Lynn Smith..
