Our best information is that Trinity Lutheran Church & St. Johns Lutheran Church of New Ulm have always been separate churches that shared a Pastor. Until 1928 the Parish Records were all kept at Trinity Church in Frelsburg in one book. Early records from Frelsburg were taken to the Nesbitt Library in Columbus and put on microfilm. Karen Galle and Brenda Tonn went to the library in Columbus and copied confirmation information for St. John members. This list from 1902 - 1927 is the information they collected. Our thanks go to them and to Robin Marek for their help in compiling these records.
