Funeral Services for Mrs. Cecelia A. Pfeffer, 96, of Bellville were held at 2:00 p.m.
on Sunday, April 10, 1994 from the Kneseck Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel in Bellville
with the Rev. Ann Dwelle Ward officiating. Interment was in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville.
Pallbearers were David Patterson, Joe Craig, John Pfeffer, Dennis Pfeffer, Ray
Friend and Russell Gutowski.
The former Miss Cecelia Augusta Tesse Rinegener* was born October 21, 1897 in
Bellville to parents, Charles and Emelie (Graf) Rinegener. She attended school in Bellville.
On July 24, 1924, Cecelia married Herbert Pfeffer at the Lutheran Church in
Bellville. Mrs. Pfeffer took great pride in keeping a spotless home, a neat yard
and taking loving care of her family. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church
in Bellville.
Mrs. Pfeffer died Friday, April 8, 1994 in a local nursing home.
She is survived by her sons Arthur L. Pfeffer and wife Betty, Robert L. Pfeffer,
Herbert F. Pfeffer and wife Ruth, all of Houston; sisters-in-law, Alma Pfeffer
and Annie Friend, also of Houston, ten (10) grandchildren; and fourteen (14)
great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Charles and Emelie; her husband
Herbert; her son Winston, and three (3) sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Pfeffer’s name to St. John Lutheran
Church in Bellville.
Funeral services were under the direction of Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral
Chapel of Bellville.
