Mr. Leroy Stokes was born in Austin County, Texas January 24, 1935 to Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Stokes. He
was the only child.
He confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized by Rev. David Harris, Galveston, Texas.
He received his education from Austin County Public School.
He was married to Miss Ora Lee Cloud, March 27, 1957. To this union was born four (4) girls.
Survivors include: 4 daughters, Miss Linda Faye, Carlyn Sue, Barbara Joe and Tesa Marie Stokes;
father & mother Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Stokes of Kenny, Texas; 5 aunts, 3 uncles, cousins, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday July 12, 1970, 2:30 p.m., Jackson Chapel A.M.E. Church, Kenny, Texas, Rev.
