In Loving Memory Of

Mr. Willie Washington, Jr.

 

Willie Washington, Jr. was the fifth child born to Willie, Sr. and Pearlie Washington on July 11, 1913 in Austin County in the town of Nelsonville. 

He confessed Christ at an early age.  

The Lord called him home on Monday, July 31, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. 

He leaves to mourn: his daughter, Mrs. Ethel Hall and one son-in-law, Freddie Hall of Rosharon, Texas; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Tucker of Los Angeles, California; two grandsons, Mr. Harold Willrich of Fresno, Texas and Mr. Herbert E. Brown of Rosharon, Texas; one step-granddaughter, Ms. Stephanie Kirkpatrick; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Silverda Jackson and Mattie Craven both of Brenham, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. 

Funeral Service: Saturday, August 5, 1989, 2:30 p.m., Jackson A.M.E. Church, Kenney, Texas, Reverend Charles Bradford, officiating. 

Active Pallbearers: Raymond Lockett, Anthony Graves, Curtis Lockett, Eddie Roberson, Derrick Curry, and Barry Graves. 

Honorary Pallbearers: Harold Willrich and Herbert E. Brown. 

Interment:  Kenney Cemetery, Kenney, Texas.
