Brushy School Cemetery

This cemetery is located near the spot where the old Brushy School once stood.  It is on a hill in some woods on land formerly owned by the late Bob Marshall and currently owned by his nephew, Don Marshall of Spring, TX.  This cemetery, which is behind a locked gate and is inaccessible to the public, is on private land.  It is about a mile off of a county road between Boone Prairie & Easterly.  In very bad condition, no markers remain.  A small, cleared-out space beneath a big cedar tree along a fence row is all that marks the spot where these two burials occurred.

2 graves of young boys who died on different occasions in the early 1900s at the old Brushy School
