Location: About 8.2 miles from the San Augustine County Courthouse South on Highway 147.  The cemetery is to the left back in the woods on the east side of the Ayish Bayou about 1 mile.

There are no monuments in the cemetery.  In 1982, when the cemetery was indexed, the graves of George Washington and Arminta (Haggerty) were marked with monuments.  They have been re-interred in the Chinquapin/Redland cemetery.  Only two graves are marked with field stones.  The identity is known for 16 of the graves.
