Hobdy Cemetery

At the entrance of Bobbitt Cemetery there is a Memorial to the Hobdy Family and a monument with the names of those buried in the Hobdy Cemetery.  Martha Hobdy, daughter of Joses and Lizetta Hobdy married A. T. L. Bobbitt Jr. in 1851.

Location: Travel 6.3 miles from the court house on HWY 63.  Turn right on FM 1751.  Continue about 3.8 miles crossing Hwy 103 and continuing another 9 miles.  The cemetery is located to the right about 1/2 mile off the road in the woods.

There are no monuments left in this cemetery.  It is known that there were 5 immediate members of the Hobdy family here as well as several relatives but their names are not know.
