Noel G. Roberts Cemetery

Location: 7.5 miles from the San Augustine County court house east on Hwy 21.  Turn right on FM 1 at Ford's Corner.  Past Mt. Horeb Church and 1/10th mile turn right at a gap into a pasture.  Follow the dim road about .75 mile through the pasture to the old home place of Noel G. Roberts at the edge of the woods.  About 1/10th of a mile through the woods and across a creek the cemetery is located to the left about 100 feet in a grove of oak trees.

There are no monuments in the cemetery. One grave has a three foot iron scroll fence around it.  Three other graves are marked with chimney rock.  There are other unmarked graves but the number is unknown due to the undergrowth. 

According to all information obtained, the following people are buried here.  There may be others that are not identified.
