Mangum Funeral Home announces services for 81 year old, Belton “Beck” Jackson, of Center. Services will be this (Tuesday) morning at 11 o’clock, at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Patroon Cemetery. Among Mr. Jackson’s survivors are five sons, Kenneth Jackson, Glenn Jackson, William Jackson, Richard Jackson, all of center, and Ronnie Jackson, of Orange, one daughter, Marlina Hannah, of Brazoria, his wife, Clarice Jackson, of Timpson, and five brothers, Douglas Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, and Billy Joe Jackson, all of Center, Eugene Jackson, of Trinity, and Don Jackson, of Shelbyville.

Ray Jackson, 79, of Center, passed away Friday April 3, 2009 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.

He requested that his body be cremated and no services are planned.

He was born March 24, 1930 in Bragg, Hardin County, Texas to Thomas Allen and Omino ( Newman) Jackson. He graduated from Center High School in 1947 and he retired from Houston Lighting Company after retirement he moved back to Shelby County and he spent countless hours researching history for the Shelby County Museum which he was very proud of.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Thomas and Omino Jackson, Brother, Melvin Jackson, Sister, Ruth Jackson McSwain and Special Friends, Carla and Bernadette.

He is survived by:
Bunch of Friends especially Beatrice

Services are under the direction of Mangum Funeral Home, Center, Texas.

Beatrice Dutton Jacobs, 75 of Center, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Nacogdoches Medical Center. She was born October 27, 1934 in Center to Clifford R. Denby and Versie Viola Denby. Ms Jacobs was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  Visitation will be held from: 5:00pm - 8:00pm Monday, July 19, 2010 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home, Center, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Church out of Shelbyville, with Bro. Billy Windham officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Josh Dutton, Jamie Dutton, Matthew Miller, Robbey Dutton, Shain Dutton, and William Dutton.

She is survived by: Daughter: Susan Sanford and Richard Fausett of Center. Mr. Billy Lewis Jent, age 74 of Cordova, Walker County AL died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Collins Burke Chapel with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper, Al. Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 6 until 9 P.M. at Collins Burke Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife Rose Shaw Jent; sons Gene Jent (Marilyn) and Brian Jent (Jo Ann); sister Sue Howard; brothers Bob Jent, Hugh Jent; grandchildren Brandon Jent, Anna Jent, Gabrielle, Victoria and Rebekah Jent.

Billy was the son of Lewis Jent and Emma Lucilla Parvin Jent.

Loyd Buel Johnson, of Spanaway, Washington, passed away Friday, September 9, 2005. Mr. Johnson was born May 16, 1921 to Ellis Johnson & Siddie Rebecca Wilson Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a former resident of Center and served in the U.S. Army. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Shelby County with Rev. James Johnson officiating. Survivors include: Ex Wife, Mary Geaiva Johnson of Spanaway, Washington. Daughters: Ouita Jones & husband C. J. of Pasadena, Betty Johnson of Spanaway, Washington. Kathleen O’Rear Johnston, 87, of Jasper, formerly of Florence , passed away from this life on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 , at Princeton Hospital . She was born on Jan. 16, 1924 . Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 , at Collins-Burke Funeral Home from noon to 2 p.m. Funeral services will Friday at 2 p.m. in Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 , at 10 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Sr.; son, Gordon Jr.; an infant son; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ebb O’Rear; brothers, Allen, Dalton and Rayburn; and sister, Peggy Sue Rice.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Johnston; sons, Jim and Steve Johnston; three granddaughters; three great-grandsons; sisters, Dean Morris and Jean (Morton) Godfrey of Jasper and Beverly (Howard) Cheney of Wyoming; brothers, Delane, Sanford (Pauline) and Wayne (Doris) of Jasper; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Billy Frank Jones
Billy Frank Jones, 75, of the Neuville Community passed away October 21, 2005 in Nacogdoches. Mr. Jones was born May 8, 1930 in Choice, Texas to Ira Lee Jones and Isabelle Walker Jones. He retired from the United States Air Force and later worked as a truck driver for Lout Logging. Mr. Jones lived in Shelby County for most of his life. Graveside services will be held at 10 am, Monday, October 24, 2005 at Short Cemetery with Rev. Don Nobles and Rev. Edward McRae officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mr. Jones' grandsons. Survivors include: Daughters, Judy Jones of Neuville, Jorja Jacobs and husband Thurman of Nacogdoches, Joyce Dorsett of Melrose and Jeri Blair and husband Rod of Groveton. 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Gay Nell Gunnels of Neuville and Viva Lee Eaves of Choice. Proceded in Death by Parents, Ira and Isabelle Jones, Two Brothers, Daughter, Jana Fountain. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.

Michael Odell Jones Jr.
NORTHPORT Michael Odell Jones, Jr., age 28, of Northport, died ,Dec. 19,
2010 at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Olive Presbyterian
Church with Bill McCook and Chris Beasley officiating. Burial will
follow in the church cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity
Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the
funeral home and one hour prior to services at the church.

Survivors include his daughters, Kamryn Reece Jones, age 5, and Courtney
Kate Jones, age 4, both of Northport; sister, Michelle Jones of Gordo;
parents, Mickey Jones and Beverly Jones of Gordo; and grandparents,
Donnie Nell Maples of Northport, and Douglas and Geneva Tunnell of
Duncanville.

He was a beloved father, son, and brother.

Pallbearers will be his cousins.

Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Beavers, Jamie Reams, Darryous
Robinson, Derek O‘Quinn, Devin Black, Rodney Hallman, Tony Driver,
Justin Elmore, all of the employees of McAbee Company, and members of
Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 372.

Juanita Jo Kreisel
Juanita Jo Kreisel, 66, of Center died Sept. 7, 2005, in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Born June 23, 1939, in Towanka, Okla., she was the daughter of Charles J. and Ruby Guynn. She was homemaker and a member of Narfe.
Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Kreisel of Center; daughters, Kristine White of Kansas City, Mo., and Kimberly Billings of Oak Grove, Mo.; mother, Ruth Guynn of Kansas City, Mo.; brother, Charles Guynn of Lathrop, Mo.; and three grandchildren. No services are planned, as she will be cremated.

TUSCALOOSA AL---James T. Lee, age 84, of Tuscaloosa died March 24, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Holley officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Lee; son, Thelton Lee; and daughter, Shelby Farmer.

Survivors include his daughters, Bobbie Turner of Tuscaloosa and Dovie Beasley of North Carolina; a brother, Curtis Lee of Tuscaloosa;
grandsons, Tom Lee, Tony Taylor (Deanna), Larry Turner, and Duane Beasley; granddaughters, Wanda Penny (Greg), Rita Schlichter, and Angie Raines; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was a member of UMWA.

Pallbearers will be Tony Taylor, Greg Penny, Adam Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Derek Day, and Chad Frye.

Mr. Enoch Logan, Jr. age 64 of Fayette AL, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 at the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Survivors include his daughters: Angie (Ben)Reece, and Emily Logan both of Fayette, his son: Patrick(Ginger)Simpson of Tuscaloosa, his brother: Tony(Judee)Logan of Berry, and his grandchildren: Gabe Reece, Carson Reece, Larken Reece, Danielle Simpson, Lilly Simpson and Annie Simpson. He was preceded in death by his parents: Enoch Logan, Sr. and Beulah Logan, and a brother: Hildred Logan. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 from Boone Cemetery in Tuscaloosa Co. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services for William Ray "Bubba" Lovett, 19, of Lufkin will be held Friday, September 23, 2005 at 10AM in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in the Melrose Cemetery in
Nacogdoches County. Mr. Lovett was born May 23, 1986 in Lufkin, and died Tuesday, September 20, 2005 in Center Texas. Mr. Lovett resided in Lufkin and Hudson for most of his life. He loved hunting, fishing, bull riding and riding horses, and especially loved his family and the Lord. Mr. Lovett was a member of the Lighthouse of Prayer Church. Survivors include his parents, Teresa and Doug Erbey of Lufkin, brothers, Christopher Battles of Center and Casey Erbey of Lufkin, maternal grandfather, Gerald Lovett of Huntington, maternal grandmother, Dianne Lovett of Huntington, paternal grandparents, James and Mary Erbey of Lufkin, maternal great grandmother, Elizabeth Blanton of Diboll, step grandmother, Sally Denby of Lufkin, very special uncle, Charles Ray Lovett, special person in William's life Kirk Battles, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ida Kay Lynn, 54, of Nauvoo, died Monday, July 26, 2010 , at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, July 30, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with burial at Old Union Cemetery in Nauvoo. Gene Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be today for one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Wilson; father, Benjemin F. Wilson Sr.; brother, Benjemin F. Wilson Jr.; and sisters, Rebecca Ann Lynn McDonald and Frances Roberson.

She is survived by her husband, James M. Lynn Sr.; daughter, Regina Jones, (Barry); sons, James Lynn Jr., John Smith and family, Ben Smith and family and Kevin Smith; five grandchildren; and her little princess, Cheyenne Jones.
