Olen Ray “Blue” Stover and Nancy Key Stover, both of Jasper

Wednesday, Jan 13, 2010


Funeral services for Olen Ray “Blue” Stover and Nancy Key Stover, both of Jasper, will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at 2 p.m. from the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Walker Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today, Jan. 13, 2010 , from 6 until 8 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until service time. Joe Fowler will officiate the service.

Olen Ray “Blue” Stover, 68, passed away on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010 , at St. Vincent ’s Birmingham . He is survived by his son, Scott Stover and wife Leah of Pell City; daughters, Penny Capps and husband Mark of Boldo and Rhonda Sanford and husband Junior of Jasper; mother, Earvel Stover of Oakman; sister, Virginia Fowler and husband, Joe of Oakman;  brothers, Roland Stover of Tuscaloosa and Ed Stover and wife Jo of Oakman; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John Stover.

Nancy Key Stover, 64, passed away on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010 , at the Walker Baptist Medical Center . She is survived by her son, Scott Stover and wife Leah of Pell City; daughters, Penny Capps and husband Mark of Boldo and Rhonda Sanford and husband Junior of Jasper; sisters, Barbara Kelly and Ava Key; brother, Joe Key; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melzia Key and Leon Key; husband, Olen “Blue” Stover; brothers, Ralph Key, James “Rut” Key and Tommy Key; and sisters, Martha Grooms and Margaret Myers.

Pallbearers will be Chris Chapel, Tim Sims, Randy Herron, Doug Key, Steve Lumsden and Paul Livingston.
