Lewis Dupree Graveyard,
Montgomery County, Texas

 
From Conroe take Hwy 105 West to Dobbin Texas. Then turn onto FM1486 South. Go about 2.6 miles. Turn right on first road past Jackson Road. Moon Camp Road. The cemetery is in deep woods. Private. Key Map 151U.
 
Here is the original description from Montgomery Cemeteries Vol. VI published in 1980 by MCG&HS: Located on a high knoll on Ole Dupree Plantation, bordering Grimes Co. yet in Montgomery Co. The Graveyard adjoined Ole San Antonio Road to Nacogdoches – just west of Kings Branch (a branch of Caney Creek). Go 1486 from Dobbin towards Magnolia. Turn right at Tom Blake Tree Farm and follow the faint trail 2 7/10 miles to High Hill.
