 Lucille Mims Johnson Bradley, 100 went home to be with her Master, Jan 12, 2014. Visitation, Friday, 11:30-5 Collins & Johnson and 6-8 pm First Missionary Baptist Church, 614 Ave H, Conroe, TX, Rev. Ernest Rucker, Pastor. Services, Saturday, 1 pm, West Tabernacle, 1900 FM 2854, Conroe, TX, Rev. A.R. Shelton, Pastor. Rev. Ernest Rucker, eulogist, Rev. William Denman, officiant. Interment Rosewood Cemetery, Conroe, TX. Mrs. Bradley was a long time member of the community, educator in the CISD, church vocalist, musician and a active community leader. She will be missed by many.

July 11, 2014 was a sad for the staff and
patrons of the Montgomery County Memorial Library Genealogy and History
room as we said goodbye to Heather Isbell Kramer as the head librarian
to the department who was leaving to home school her son. Heather Isbell Kramer was only the third librarian in the genealogy and history room after Imogene Kennedy (~1972-1992) and Barbara Franz (1992-2011). In only three short years as its department head, she brought tremendous change to the genealogy and history room. Trained as an archivist, Heather, with her knowledge and training, helped many lineage societies and other patrons with their genealogy. She reorganized the space and added new equipment and technology to replace outdated equipment. Under her tutelage the genealogy and history room became a Family History Center Affiliate Library where patrons could review items ordered from the LDS Library in Salt Lake City. She gave "Boot Camp" and DNA classes to those new to genealogy and DNA.
So the baton will pass on to another librarian to carry on Imogene's vision but I know Imogene is smiling at Heather's wonderful contributions that she's made to the genealogy and history room.
Heather's made lots of friends with patrons and the community during her brief tenure as head librarian in the genealogy and history room and will truly be missed as its head librarian. We wish you the best home schooling your son and whatever endeavor you may wish to pursue in the future.
