ANITA (SCHROEDER) TEICHMANN

Funeral services for Anita Clara Teichmann, 90, of Bellville were held on Thursday, June 29, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. from Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel in Bellville With Rev. Willie Rotter officiating.  Interment was held in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery near Bellville.

 Pallbearers for the service were Dennis Steck, Danny Ray Steck, Dale Steck, Gary Guthmann, Stuart Lewis, Mike Reynolds & Weldon E. Hill, M.D.

Honorary pallbearers for the service were Chad Guthmann and Kacie Steck.
 
Born July 13, 1909 in the Piney Community Anita Schroeder was the daughter of Fritz and Ida (Reinecker) Schroeder.  She was raised in the Piney Community and attended the Piney Community School.  She was baptized on March 27, 1910 and confirmed December 25, 1924 both at St. John Lutheran Church of Bellville. 

On September 28, 1927 the former Miss Schroeder and Walter J. Teichmann were married in Bellville.  Anita was a lifetime member of Concordia Hall, the Coshatte Agricultural Society and the Woodmen of the World.  She was owner and operator of Teichmann Meat Market for many years as well as being a full-time  homemaker. 

Among her many hobbies and interests included gardening, canning, planting and weeding the flowers she lived, playing dominoes 42 & 88, sewing, crocheting and playing her accordion.  Anita also loved music and enjoyed dancing. 

Anita Teichmann died Monday, June 26, 2000 in Bellville.
 
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette "Dolly" and Dean Steck, son and daughter-in-law, Wilfred "Bubba" and Margaret Teichmann all of Bellville,  six grandchildren; Dennis and Alice Steck, Dottie and Gary Guthmann, Donna and Mike Reynolds, and Dale Steck all of Bellville, Darlene and Stuart Lewis of College Station and Danny and Lisa Steck of Brenham, seven great-grandchildren; Cheryl and Chad Guthmann, Kacie Steck, Justin Reynolds all of Bellville, Phillip and Patrick Lewis of College Station, and Matthew Steck of Brenham.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Ida Reinecker Schroeder, husband, Walter J. Teichmann, sisters, Edna Woehst,
Ellen Meinecke and Hattie Kiesewetter, Brothers, Raymond Schroeder, Ronald Frank and Albert Frank, great-granddaughter, Krystal Lynn Steck.
 
Funeral services were under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, 34 North Masonic, Bellville, Tx  77418.  (979)865-3121.
