Funeral services for Bessie Bush, 99, of Bellville, Texas were held
Sunday, July 13, 2003 at 12:30 p.m. from St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bellville,
Texas with Rev. Bob Gribble officiating. Interment was at Oak Knoll
Cemetery in Bellville, Texas.
Bessie Wotipka was born to parents Joe and Frances (Uhrik) Wotipka in
Bellville and was raised in Bellville. She graduated from San Marcus
Teacher's College and was a teacher.
On July 3, 1944 Bessie was joined in marriage to Mr. J.V. Bush. She was a member of Bellville General Hospital Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
Bessie Bush passed away July 12, 2003 in Bellville, Texas.
She is survived by her stepdaughter Velma Shook of Beaumont, cousins
Jeanette Atkisson of Bellville and Beatrice Barler of Tucson, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Frances Wotipka, husband
J.V. Bush, sister Gladys Jo Wotipka.
