Funeral services for Ida S. Buvinghausen were held Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003 at 11 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston with Rev. Donald Black and Rev. E,. Harmann officiating. Interment was in Resthaven Cemetery. She was born March 13, 1904 in Thorndale, Texas. Ida S. Buvinghausen died Nov. 22, 2003 in Brenham, Texas. She is survived by daughters Joyce Niebes and husband Emlyn of Dallas and Betty Van Horn and husband Lloyd of Bellville, grandson Craig Niebes, granddaughters Joylyn Niebes, Alison Davis, Sharon Ridgway, Beth Smith, 11 great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. Ida was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, husband Alvin B. Buvinghausen, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Houston Ave. Houston, Texas 7707 and Hospice Brazos Valley, 705 S. Austin, Brenham, Texas, 77833. To God Be the Glory.
