Funeral services for Jerry L. Coufal were held Monday, October 13, 2003 at
10 a.m. from Industry Brethren Church with Rev. Milton Maly officiating.
Interment was at Industy Brethren Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Brian Owens, Gary Owens, Michael Cmajdalka, Paul
Cmajdalka, Blake Cmajdalka and Andrew Cmajdalka.
He was born to Joseph and Emily Maresh Coufal Jr. in Willow Springs Area of
Fayette County. In March of 1960 he married the former Clara Bell Henager
who preceded him in death on April 14, 1996. He was a retired Design
Engineer in the Aircraft Mfg. Field. He was a member of Industy Brethren
Church, Fayetteville Lions Club and was active in WECCO.
Mr. Jerry L. Coufal 80, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2003 in Bellville,
Texas.
He is survived by step-children Anatta King and her husband Arvul of Rusk,
Texas and Carolyn Russell and her husband Vernon of Odessa, Texas,
sister-in-law Delores Coufal of Bellville, niece Shirley Cmajdalka and her
husband Frank, 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers Benjamin and Ruben
and son Tommy Raborn.
Funeral services were under the direction of Koenig & Strickland Funeral
Home in LaGrange, Texas.
