Jody Ann Drane, 54, of Brenham,
died Dec. 20, 2003, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.
Mrs. Drane was born Jan. 7, 1949 in Houston to Joe and Evelyn
McFarland Gamble.
She attended Sam Houston State University.
On Sept. 4, 1969, she was married to Clifford Conway Drane, Sr. in
Houston.
Mrs. Drane was a former member of the Rainbow Girls and was a
receptionist
for Dr. Hal Anderson.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Conway Drane, Sr. of
Brenham; son
and daughter-in-law, Clifford Conway Jr. and Julie Drane of Katy;
daughter,
Kelly Maeri Drane of Austin; granddaughters, Abigail Marie Drane and
Ava
Elizabeth Drane; and numerous aunts, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Tobe D.
and
Hatie Maeri McFarland.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 in
Memorial Oaks
Chapel with Dr. Wesley Wellborn officiating.
The family will received relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in
Memorial Oaks
Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers will be fellow employees of Dr. Hal Anderson.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or to First
United
Methodist Church in Brenham.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
Main
St., in Brenham.
