Funeral services for Myrtle (Rinn) Grebe of Industry were held Tuesday,
September 30 at 4 p.m. at Zaskoda Chapel in Industry. Burial was in the
Prairie Lea Cemetery near Brenham.
Born Jan. 30, 1917 in Rock House, she was the daughter of Charles and
Augusta (Krebs) Rinn. She married Fred H. Grebe Nov. 2, 1934 in Bellville. A
homemaker, she was a member of Salem Welcome Lutheran Church, S.P.J.S.T. of
Bleiblerville, was a seamstress and worked in a dress factory in Bellville
and also for Herbertıs Catering for many years.
Myrtle (Rinn) Grebe, 86, died September 28, 2003 in Columbus, Texas.
Survivors include one daughter, Jo Ann Blezinger and husband Clinton of
Industry; three grandsons, Michael Blezinger and wife Linda, Gregory
Blezinger and wife Brenda, and Scott Blezinger and wife Patricia; seven
great-grandchildren, Nicole, Ross, Cameron, Jill, Garner, Wyatt, and Bailey
Blezinger; one brother-in-law, Leroy Grebe and wife Bernetta of Bellville;
two nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and brother, Leslie Rinn.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Salem Welcome Lutheran Church or
charity of choice.
Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home of La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
