A memorial service for Kirby Gross was held Saturday, June 14, 2003 at St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm, Texas with Rev. Bill Mosley officiating.

He was born April 28, 1937 to parents Davy and Norma Krause Gross in New Ulm Texas. On October 6, 1979 he married Anna Walla. He was self employed as a farmer, rancher and carpenter. He was a lifelong resident of New Ulm, Texas, a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm,the American Legion Post #602 in Shelby, Texas and served in the U.S. Army. Kirby W. Gross passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at the age of 66 years in Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Anna Gross, sons Aaron Gross of Austin, Texas and Andrew Gross of New Ulm, Texas, mother Norma Gross, Bellville, Texas and brothers Milford Gross of Bellville, Wilbert Gross of LaGrange, Texas and LewEllyn Gross of New Ulm, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father Davy Gross.

Funeral services were entrusted to Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas.
