Funeral services for Iola Hagen, 88, of Fayetteville, Texas were held
Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in
Bellville, Texas with Rev. Patricia Newcomer officiating. Interment was at
the Coshatte Cemetery in Bellville, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers wereJohn Duarte, Johnny Angel, Billy Hagen,
Micah Lichtenstein, Boby Hagen and John
Park.
Born in Peters Community, Texas, Iola was the daughter of Louis and Luck
(Eckelberg) Hintz. She was raised in Peters and attended Hacienda School
in Peters. Iola Hintz married Charlie H. Hagen Oct. 26, 1932 with ceremony
held
in Peters. Mrs. Hagen was a lifelong homemaker and attended Industry
Methodist Church. Iola had many interests, but spending time with her
family was what she enjoyed.
Iola Hagen died Friday, May 16, 2003 in Bellville, Texas.
Survived by her daughter and son-in-law Judy and John Park of Houston,
Texas, grandchildren Johnny Angel, Tania Lichtenstein, Denise Duarte,
Great grandchildren, Daniel, Jared, Amanda and Kristen Angel, Elizabeth, Rebecca
and Blaine Lichtenstien, Christina and Tiffany Duarte and three great
great grandchildren and other family and friends.
Preceded in death by parents Lois and Lucy Hintz, husband Charlie Hagen
and daughter Carol Key.
Funeral services were under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels
in Bellville, Texas.
