Funeral services for Misako Hartwig, 89, of Bellville were held
Monday, Dec.
15, 2003 at 10 a.m. at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Bellville with
Pastor
Larry Welsh officiating.
Misako Hartwig was born in Tokyo, Japan to parents Shinkichi and
Waka Yamada
Sekine. She was raised in Tokyo and attended school there.
Mrs. Hartwig was of the Shinto Religion.
She was married to Samuel A. Hartwig in Yokohama, Japan in 1953. She
was a
homemaker, enjoyed her garden and was a member of the Town & Country
Garden
Club.
Misako Hartwig passed away, Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 in Bellville.
She is survived by her daughters Etsuko Traylor of Houston and
Wakako Yamada
of Japan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Shinkichi and Waka Sekine
and her
husband Samuel A. Hartwig.
Funeral services were under the driection of Knesek Family Funeral
Chapel,
Bellville.
