Memorial services for Shirley Aline (Torgerson) Marshall, 88, of Sealy,
Texas were held Friday, May 30, 2003 at 2 p.m. Knesek Bros. Funeral
Chapel
in Sealy with Rev. Troy Sikes officiating.
Born in Giltner, Nebraska, Shirley was the daughter of Oscar Gilman and
Eula
(Lee) Torgerson. She was raised and attended school in Los Angeles, CA.
Shirley worked for the Los Angeles School System for several years. The
former Miss Shirley Aline Torgerson married Arthur S. Marshall in
California.
She was a member of the order of Easter Star. Shirley enjoyed
gardening and loved to play bridge with her friends.
Shirley Aline Marshall died May 27, 2003 in Sealy, Texas.
Survived by her daughters Sandra K. DeRemer and husband Gary of Tryon,
North
Caroline, Paula Little and husband Michael of Bellville, Texas,
grandchildren Brad Little and wife Kelli, Vanessa Wallace and husband
Patrick, Shereen Ferri and husband Mark and great grandchild Michael
Ferri.
Preceded in death by parents Oscar Gilman and Eula Torgerson, husband
Arthur S. Marshall, brothers Tommy and Paul Torgerson and sisters Elberta
and Marjory.
