Funeral services for Dorothy Mozelle Jones of Sealy, Texas were held
Monday, May 19, 2003 a 10 a.m. from First Baptist Church in Sealy, Texas with Rev.
Merle Blado officiating.
Interment was at the Restwood Memorial Park
Cemetery at 3 p.m. in Lake Jackson, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Virnau, Andrew Jones, John Brothers,
Wesley
Ialacci, John Johnson and Gary Johnson.
Born in Madison County, Texas Dorothy was the daughter of Harm and Jesse
(Mitchell) Baker.
She was raised in Madison and Brazoria County and
attended
Freeport High School. Dorothy Mozelle Baker and Mr. Paul Jones were
married with ceremony held in Freeport, Texas. She was a lifelong homemaker. Mrs.
Jones was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School
and was involved with all church activities, she especially enjoyed
traveling on group church trips.
Dorothy Mozelle Jones died Thursday, May 15, 2003 in Houston, Texas .
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Howard and Kathy Jones of
Willis, Texas, sister Joe Ann Crenshaw of North Zulch, Texas, brother
Howard Baker of Willis, Texas, grandchildren Andrew Jones and Nicholas Jones of
Willis, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harm and Jesse Baker, husband
Paul Jones and son David Jones.
Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels,
Sealy, Texas.
