Funeral services for H.F. Priesmeyer, 79, of Bellville were held Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Bellville with the Rev. Milroy Gregor officiating, Interment was in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Bellville.

Pallbearers for the service were Jess Washmon, Stephen Klaus, Raymond H. Priesmeyer, Jimmy Priesmeyer, David Chovanec and Rudolph Chovanec.

H.F. Priesmeyer was born to parents Henry and Ella Struckmeyer Priesmeyer in Brenham. He was raised in Wesley and attended Wesley Public School. Mr. Priesmeyer served his country during World War II in the United States Navy.

He married Laverna Klaus on Sept. 7, 1947 in Brenham and worked with his brothers for 42 years developing Priesmeyer Bros. in Bellville. Mr. Priesmeyer was a life time member of the V.F.W. in Bellville, 23 year member of the Kenney Hall, loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and baseball.

H.F. Priesmeyer died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 in Bellville

Survivors include his wife Laverna Priesmeyer of Bellville, daughter and son-in-law Linda Kay and Robert Watts Jr., of Silsbee, son and
daughter-in-law Ronald Ray and Christine Priesmeyer of Katy, brothers Raymond Priesmeyer of Bellville and Erwin Priesmeyer and wife Kathryn of Bellville, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ella Priesmeyer, sister Iona Whelmsen and sister-in-law, Viola Priesmeyer.

Funeral services were held under the direction of the Knesek Family Funeral Chapel of Bellville.
