Graveside services for Blanche L. Rogers, 74, of Portland, Michigan, were held Friday, June 20, 2003 at 10 a.m. from Buckhorn Cemetery in Bellville, Texas with Rev. Jeff English officiating.

Born in Coal Creek, Tennessee, Blanche was the daughter of James Frank and Gertrude (Roberts) Golden. She was raised in Briceville, Tennessee and attended school there. Blanche Golden married Raynard Stalter on September 5, 1946 with ceremony held in Georgia and after his death, she married William Rogers on May 12, 1972. Blanche worked as a care giver for the State Schools. She was of Baptist Faith.

Blanche Leora Golden died June 17, 2003 in Bellville, Texas.

She is survived by her daughters Marsha L. Killen and husband Ray of Buckhorn, Cathy L. Abbott and husband Don of Michigan, sons Danny R. Stalter and wife Kathy of California, Perry E. Stalter and wife Nancy of New Jersey, sister Shelby J. O'Neal, six step children, fourteen grandchildren, eleven step grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents James and Gertrude Golden, husbands Raynard Stalter and William Rogers, son Gary Lynn Stalter, daughter Patricia Ann Forney, sisters Charlotte Massengill, Jeraldine McConnell, Georgia Blymiller and grandson Gary Lynn Killen.
