Funeral services for Pauline Helen Surovcak, 93, of Sealy, Texas were held
Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at 10 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church in Sealy with Rev. Octavio Muguerza celebrating the funeral mass
and rite of committal. Interment was at Immaculate Conception Catholic
Cemetery in Sealy.
Serving as pallbearers were Hank Hlavinka, Jason Hlavinka, Mark Gaskill,
Matthew Gaskill, Greg Stuessel and Chris Vilfordi.
Born in Chappell Hill, Pauline was the daughter of Marion and Katherina
(Michalak) Dzierzanowski. The family moved to the Rosenberg area when she
was little. She attended Rosenberg schools. Pauline and Mr. Frank Richard
Surovcak were married in Rosenberg, with ceremony held at Holy Rosary
Catholic Church. A lifelong homemaker, she was a faithful member of
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy.
Pauline Helen Surovcak died Friday, September 12, 2003 in Sealy.
She is survived by her daughters, Frances Gaskill and husband Harlon of
Dalhart, Marge Hlavinka and husband Henry of East Bernard, Joan Stuessel
and husband Harvey of Beaumont, twelve grandchildren, numerous great
grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Pauline is preceded in death by her husband Frank Surovcak, son Frank
Surovcak Jr., parents Marion and Katherina Dzierzanowski, sisters Rosie
Janicki and Josephine Machala, brothers Tom, Lee, John and Anton
Dzierzanowski and three infant siblings, Adam, Hattie and Mary.
Funeral arrangements under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapel,
Sealy, Texas.
