Funeral services for Jarvis "Willy" Williams, 85, of Brookshire, Texas
were held Monday, August 4, 2003 at 1 p.m. graveside at Oak Knoll Cemetery in
Bellville wth Rev. Merle Blado officiating.
Born in Waren, Arknsas, Jarvis Williams was the son of Thomas Allen
Williams and Rhoda Bell Mills Williams.
He was raised in Warren and attended school
there. "Willy" served his country during W.W.II in the United States Army.
He was a retired mechanic, working mostly in oilfields.
Jarvis "Willy" Williams died Friday, August 1, 2003 in Bellville.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Michael
Thibodeaux of Brookshire, son and daughter-in-law Thomas Allen and Joyce Williams of
Evangeline, Louisiana, sisters Margaret Catalina and Katy Mills both of
Lake Village, Arkansas, 10 grandchildren Carlene, Roxanne, Norman Ray Jr.,
Alicia, Robby, Terry, Kandi, Joanne, Amie Jan, Tommy and 13 great
grandchildren.
Preceded n death by his parents Thomas and Rhoda Bell Williams, his son
Norman Ray Williams, and former wife Pebble Kane.
Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels,
Bellville, Texas.
