Memorial services for Mary Elliott, 86, of Bay City were held Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 4 p.m. from the First Presbyterian Church in Bay City with the Rev. John Pope officiating.
Born in Richmond, Mary Dee Ernestine Buller was the daughter of John A. Buller and Henrietta L. Brune Buller. Mary was raised in Sealy and graduated from Sealy High School.
On December 24, 1949 the former Miss Mary Buller and Mr. David G. Elliott were married with ceremony held in San Antonio, Texas. Mary was the owner/operator of the first retail store, "Dee's Attic" in Bay City, opening in 1965. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bay City, a
devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother.
Mary Elliott died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Bay City, Texas.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David G. Elliott, Jr. and wife Janie of Corpus Christi, John Elliott and wife Tricia of Bay City, Jeff Elliott and wife Julie of Bay City; grandchildren Jennifer and husband Chris Lawrence, Jason Elliott, Joanna Elliott, Joyce Elliott, Travis Elliott.
