Funeral services for Barbara Henrichsen, 64, of San Leon (formerly of
Bellville) were held Friday, May 14, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Knesek Bros.
Funeral Chapel in Bellville with the Rev. Wayne Middleton officiating.
Interment was in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville. Serving as pallbearers
were David Remmert, Monuelle Jennings, Herbert Schumann, Leroy Kokemor,
Robert Schumann and Raymond Janosky, Sr.
Barbara was born to parents Hubert and Sally Mae Burkett Echart in Dallas.
She was raised in Honey Grove and attended school in Honey Grove. On May 13,
1963, the former Miss Barbara Echart was joined in marriage to Mr. Charles
Henrichsen with a ceremony held in Rosenberg. She was an office manager for
Walcolmany, a metalizing company. Barbara and Charles were the former owners
of the Brahma Inn in Bellville. Barbara enjoyed sailing and traveling around
the country in her travel trailer.
Barbara Henrichsen died May 9, 2004 in San Leon.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Henrichsen of San Leon; daughter,
Cyndi Stanford of San Leon; sons, Charles Henrichsen, III and wife Debbie of
Seattle, Washington and Jeffrey Henrichsen of San Leon; brother, James
Echart and wife Barbara of Hempstead; grandchildren, Jenny, Mandy, Meagan
and Jeffrey Henrichsen, Jr., and Tori Whiteren and husband Lance; great
grandchildren, Cody and Kade Whiteren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Sally Echart; and
brothers, Hubert, Jr., Alvin and A.J.
