Bellville Times

Benno C. Hoff was born in Bellville on October 5, 1917 and passed away in
Houston, on April 12, 2004. He was baptized on April 12, 1930 and confirmed
in April of 1933. He married Bernice Mehner on April 27, 1946 and they
enjoyed 52 years together.
Benno is survived by his daughters, Karen Lind and husband Michael, and
Kimberly Linn and husband Jefferey; and grandchildren, Kevin and Kristin
Lind and Jamie and Courtney Linn.
Benno had been an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church since 1963. He
was a veteran of World War II, and worked for Mosher Steel Company for 36
years, retiring in 1982. He was also a longtime member of the Woodmen of the
World. 
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 16, 2004, at Holy Cross Lutheran
Church, with the Rev. George Bement and the Rev. Gene Fogt officiating.
Interment followed at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial

Houston, Texas 77055 in memory of Benno C. Hoff.
