Funeral services for Gladys E. Shupak, 81, of La Grange, formerly of
Nelsonville, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2004 from Knesek
Bros. Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Henry Beseda officiating. Interment was
at National Cemetery in Nelsonville. Serving as pallbearers were Randy
Noviskie, Leonard Mikeska, Doug Dean, Len Mikeska, Casey Cook, Scott Stepan
and Gary Dean.
Born in Nelsonville, Gladys was the daughter of Frank Shupak and Mary Kamas
Shupak. She was raised in Nelsonville and attended the Scranton Grove
School. Gladys was a member of Houston Brethren Church and Christian
Sisters. 
Gladys Eleanor Shupak passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2004 in La
Grange. Gladys was a loving sister, and aunt. She was never more happy than
when she was with her family. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mattie and Louis Noviskie,
as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Shupak; and three
sisters, Lillie Zettel, Esther Mikeska and Sadie Stepan.
