Memorial services for Wendell Ray Urban, 42, of Sealy, were held Thursday,
Jan. 6, 2005 at 10 a.m. from the Shepherd's Way Church with the Rev. Frank
Lucas officiating.
Born in Austin, Ray was the son of Armour and Helen Cameron Urban. He was
raised in Victoria and attended McFadden Public School.
Wendell Ray Urban married the former Janie Gonzales on September 23, 1987
with ceremony held in Victoria. Mr. Urban worked as a mechanic on heavy duty
trucks and enjoyed ranching. Wendell Ray Urban died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004 in
Katy.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Urban of Sealy; daughters, Misty Urban,
Marrissa Urban, Haylee Urban, all of Sealy and Alexandra Urban of Victoria;
sister, Vickie Botelo of Victoria; step-son, Jamie Gonzalez; step-daughter,
Felisha Gonzales; grandchildren, Gavan Carmona, Mia Gonzales and Angelika
Gonzales.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Armour and Helen Urban.
Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels,
Sealy.
