Bellville Times

Funeral services for Bessie Gutowsky, 95, of Bellville, were held Monday,
March 6, 2006 at 10 a.m. from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in
Bellville with the Rev. Tim Bucek celebrating the funeral mass and rite of
committal. Interment was at the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville.
Serving as pallbearers were Bobby Remmert, Lee Beaman, Brad Williams David
Gutowsky, Dwayne Gutowsky, Dustin Remmert, Jason Beaman and Lanny McPherson.
Honorary pallbearer was Roland De Los Santos.
Bessie was born in Chappell Hill to Martin and Agnes (Walda) Janczak. She
was raised in Chappell Hill and Raccoon Bend. Bessie attended Chappell Hill
School and was a graduate of Bradford School.
She was a life long homemaker and a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic
Church in Bellville were she was a member of the Altar Society and Council
of Catholic Women.
Bessie Gutowsky died Thursday, March 2, 2006 in Bellville.
She is survived by her sons, B.J. Gutowsky and wife Kathryn of Bellville and
Larry Gutowsky and wife Kay of Houston, grandchildren and spouses, Bobby and
Barbara Remmert, Pam and Lee Beaman, Connie and Brad Williams, Dwayne and
Suzanne Gutowsky, David and Donna Gutowsky, Jennifer Gutowsky and Shannon
and Roland De Los Santos, great grandchildren, Ashley McPherson and husband
Lanny, Dustin Remmert, Jason Beaman and wife Erin, Jessica Beaman, Justin,
Ryan and Garrett Williams, Lauren Hamling, Kyle Gutowsky, Lauren and Emily
Gutowsky, Alyssa, Mikayla and Olivia De Los Santos, sister-in-law. Pearl
Darbon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Agnes Janczek, husband, Thomas
Gutowsky, daughter, Audrey Gutowsky Remmert, seven brothers and eight
sisters.
