CLARENCE J. KNAPEK

Funeral services for Clarence J. Knapek, 76, of Sealy, were held Friday,
June 2, 2006 at 2 p.m. from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek, with the
Rev. Bernard Snock celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal.
He  died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 in Sealy.
Interment was at the St. mary's Cemetery in Frydek. Pallbearers were Roger
Stoppelberg, Steven Noack, Sr., Clarence Noack, Buddy Noack, Christopher
Noack, Robert Moss, T.J. Verhay and Steven Noack Jr.
Born in LaGrange, Clarence was the son of Frank and Julia (Stancik) Knapek.
He was raise din Schulenberg and attended Svetlo Public Schools.
Mr. Knapeck worked as Supervisory mechanic for a Wholesale Grocery Supply
business in Houston. Clarence J. Knapek married the former Miss Evelyn
Vanicek on November 22, 1952 with ceremony held in High Hill, Texas.
Clarence serviced his country on active duty in the U.S. Army during the
Korean Conflict.
He loved hunting, fishing, animals  and he raise squirrels and geese.
He most of all loved his family especially his grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
Gardening, making pickles and quilting were a learned experience from his
mother, and a house full of sisters, which he passed along to his family and
grandchildren. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law -- Lisa and Clarence Noack
of Sealy; Cindy and Steven Noack of Sealy; Theresa and Roger Stoppelberg of
Paige, Texas; son and daughter-in-law -- Vastine and Theresa Knapek of
Cypress, Texas; sisters -- Lillian Hauser of Houston; Sylvia Kallus and
Evelyn Teague and husband Marcus all of Lake Arthur, Louisiana;
grandchildren -- Stacey and Robert Moss; Shelly, Sandra and Suzanne
Stoppelberg; Steven Noack, Jr.,; Christopher, Buddy and Lauren Noack; great
grandchildren -- Seth and Shayne Moss.
Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Julia Knapek; wife -- Evelyn Knapek;
brother -- Cyril Knapek; and sister, Bernice Janda.
Services under the arrangements of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels.
