    Funeral services for Lillie Mae Knapp, 94 of Richmond (formerly of
Wallis), were held Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at Knesek & Sons
Funeral Chapel in Wallis with Rev. Melvin Young officiating. Interment was
held Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston,
Texas.
    Born in Wallis, TX, Lillie was the daughter of Thomas Wade Bonner and
Lettie (Sexton) Bonner. She was raised and attended school in Wallis. Lillie
worked as a cook. Lillie Mae Bonner married Eldridge Knapp. She was a member
of the Baptist church. Lillie Mae Knapp died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 in
Richmond, Texas.
    She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
    Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lettie Bonner, husband
Eldridge Knapp, sisters Annie Mae Dural, Edna Bonner and Mildred Payne,
brothers Booker T. Bonner, Sr. and Chester A. Bonner.
