    Gloria J. Mikeska, 59, passed away July 24, 2006. She was an employee of
the Brenham State School, and a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Mikeska, Sr., parents, William
H. Whittemore and Mary Rose Whittemore, sister, Mildred Grace Conklin, and 2
children, John Michael Mikeska and Matthew Mikeska. Survived by her loveing
family, son, Donald E. Mikeska, Jr., daughters, Lori J. Smith and Anna C.
Mikeska, sisters, Pat Thurin, Sharon Posey, and Anna Duesterberg, brothers,
Randall Whittemore and James Whittemore, 3 grandchildren and numerous other
loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-9 P.M.
Friday at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball. Funeral services will be held at
11:00 A.M. Saturday, Walnut Creek Baptist Church, with graveside services to
follow at 3 P.M. Saturday, Nelsonville Cemetery, Austin County.
