Bellville Times

Richard Paul "Ricky" Sharp was born March 6, 1952 in Houston, the son of
Monroe Lee and Ora Dell Ladig Sharp.
He grew up and attended school in Bellville, graduating from Bellville High
School in 1970.
A Lutheran by faith, Ricky has made his home in Brenham where he was an
employee of the Brenham Opportunity Center.
He enjoyed playing cards and going to the movies.
He passed away Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham
at the age of 54.
He is survived by his sisters  Carolyn Sharp of Brenham and Gaylynn
Sharp-Preuss and her husband, Ernest, of Giddings; along with numerous
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of friends.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Laurlynn Lee
Sharp.
Burial was in the Cat Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of usual remembrances, friends who wish may make memorial gifts to
Texana MHMR, 4910 Airport, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
Final arrangements were under the direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home in
Bellville.Sharp
