Surovik
Olga Lillian Surovik, born Dec. 21, 1909 to John and Rosie (Sebesta) Surovik
in Nelsonville, passed away Dec. 17, 2006.
She was a Houston resident since 1943 and retired from McKesson Wholesale
Drug House.
Olga is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Annie Barnett, Walter
Surovik, Rosa Hancock and Johnnie Surovik.  She is survived by nieces and
nephews, Eva Lou Wert, Ray-mond ³Sonny² Barnett, Johnnie Wayne Surovik,
Sheila Surovik, Darlyn Berry, Bonnie Hancock, Dixie Stanford and Lois
Hancock;  sister-in-law, Lillie Surovik;  numerous great-nieces and
great-nephews and by her Houston Brethren Church family.
The family greeted friends at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dece. 20, 2006 in the
Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, where her funeral service was conducted at
11 a.m. with the Rev. William J. Hodge, the Rev. Henry Beseda, Jr. and the
Rev. Lisa Johnson officiating.  Interment followed at 3 p.m. in National
Cemetery, Nelsonville.
