Funeral Services for Joyce Chapman Wells, 83, of Bellville, Texas, were
held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2006, from St. Maryıs Episcopal
Church in Bellville with Rev. Bob Gribble officiating. Interment was at
Pilgrims Rest Cemetery near Bellville.
    Born in Wimbledon, England, Joyce was the daughter of Edward Chapman and
Miriam Finch Chapman. She was educated in England. Joyce and Mr. Dennis
Wells were married in 1960. She worked as a Studio Photo-grapherıs
Assistant. She and Dennis moved to Bellville 16 years ago from Houston.
Joyce was a member of St. Maryıs Episcopal Church in Bellville. Joyce
Chapman Wells died Friday, September 1, 2006 in Bellville.
    Survived by her husband Dennis Wells of Bellville, daughters; Suzette
Jones and husband Randy of Houston, Miriam Chirko of San Mateo, California,
sister; Rena Pierce of Oak Harbor, Washington, her grandchildren; Jonathan
Chirko, Benjamin Chirko, Nicholas Jones and Kimberly Jones.
    Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Miriam Chapman.

Masonic, Bellville, TX 77418.
    Services under the direction of Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in
Bellville.
