Nicholas Tye Resendez, 22, of Sealy, Texas passed away on the morning of
Sept. 22, 2007. Nicholas was born on March 5, 1985 in Katy, Texas to
parents Manuel Resendez, Jr. and Terri Resendez. Nick attended Sealy
Schools and graduated from Sealy High School in May of 2004. He attended
the Universal Technical Institute in Houston where he studied automotive
mechanics and graduated with a degree in Automotive Technology. He was
employed by Wild West Honda in Kat, Texas. His love of motorcycles was
evident and extended beyond his abilities as a technician. Nick was an avid
rider and often got together with friends to enjoy riding with people who
loved it as much as he did. Cesar Martinez was one such friend and was like
a brother to Nick.
Nick was always the loudest person in the crowd and made sure he was heard
and seen, always telling jokes and laughing in a way that was contagious and
memorable. Nick also loved to eat, (although you couldn't tell it) and one
of his favorite restaurants was Cazadores Mexican! However, when Nicholas
was really hungry, WhatABurger was his number one choice.
Nick always lived life to the fullest and was a wonderful husband and
father. He spent a great deal of time with his family and his children were
his greatest joy. Nick worked very hard to make sure his children had what
they needed and when he wasn't working he played just as hard to make up for
the times he could not be around.
A beloved husband and father, Nicholas is survived by his wife, Veronica
Resendez and two children, Marissa Kate and Tyler Andrew Resendez of Sealy,
