Skalak

Services are pending for Elizabeth Skalak who died Sunday, Dec. 2, at the
age of 93. She was born March 8, 1914 in Bellville, the first of 10 children
born to Henry J. and Maude  (Colleton) Kenter.
On June 3, 1936 she married Lloyd Skalak in Bellville and together they
raised four children. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Skalak of Seadrift
and his wife Barbara, and Tom Skalak of Freeport and his wife Dorissa; one
daughter, Cindy Payne of Casper, Wyoming and her husband Jim; one sister,
Mary Jane Gordon of Bellville; and numerous grandchildren,
step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death  by her husband, five siblings who did not survive
infancy, two brothers, one sister, one son and one grandson.
