Ronald Edward Dhom was born March 15, 1941 in Harris County, the son of J.B. Welch and Naomi (Burrow) Welch Dhom and stepson of Ivo Ray Dhom.

He grew up and attended school in Austin County, graduating from Bellville High School.

Catholic by Faith, Ronald was very strong in his belief, reading his Bible study.

Ronald enjoyed western movies and loved John Wayne and Elvis Pressley. He also was a big history buff and could tell you anything you wanted to know about history.

Ronald passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at the age of 67, in Bellville.

He is survived by his dear friends Robert Dyer of Bellville and Richard Cude of Bellville.; his friends from Texana and Robert Lee of La Grange.

He is preceded in death by his parents and stepsister, Patricia Dhom.

Memorials ervice was Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 from Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tim Bucek, celebrant.

Schmidt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
