Shirley Ann (Luedke) Dugas was born Jan. 27, 1944 in Bellville, the daughter of Ervin and LuEllen (Froebel)
Luedke.
She grew up and attended school in Bellville. After graduating from Bellville High School, she
attended Blinn Junior College.
A Lutheran by faith, Shirley was baptized at the St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville on March 26,
1944, and confirmed on March 30,1958.
Shirley was employed as a cook for the Bellville Independent School District, she loved being with
her family and friends and enjoyed hunting, reading, riding horses, crosswords puzzles, cooking and watching sports.
Shirley passed away in Bellville on Friday, Aug.29, 2008, at the age of 64.
She is survived by her loving daughter Kendra Dugas and Chad Mikeska; mother LuEllen Luedke;
brothers Don Luedke and his wife, Judy and J.W. Luedke and his wife, Paula; aunts Ella Mae Koehn and Waldine Lipsey; uncles Lee Veron Froebel and Willie Froebel;
nephews John Luedke, Al LaBlanc, Michael Luedke and Christi, Brandon Luedke and Rebecca, and Chad Luedke and Tiffany Herbst; great nieces and nephews Chandler
Luedke, Emma Luedke and Darcy Luedke; special friend Fay Pfeffer and numerous other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father Ervin Luedke and her great niece, Elizabeth Luedke.
Honorary Pallbearers are John Anderson, Chad Luedke, Brandon Luedke, John Luedke, Michael Luedke
and Robert Calvert.
Memorial service was 10 a.m., Saturday Sept. 6, 2008 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville with
Pastor Jennie Jones and Pastor David Henske officiating.
