Funeral Services for Doris Ann Duve, 66, of New Ulm were held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 10
a.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Home in Bellville with Rev. Tim Bucek officiating. Interment followed in the New Bremen Cemetery in New Ulm. Serving as pallbearers
were Brian Flentge, Mike Kasprowicz, Justin Maresh, Travis Duve, Lloyd Graham, Boyd Ueckert. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Slacik, Delphine Merkel, Matt Macat,
Kenneth Macat and Frankie Macat.
Doris was born to parents, Hubert and Ann (Sulak) Seifert. Doris was raised in La Grange. She
graduated from La Grange High School. On July 4, 1960 the former Miss Doris Ann Seifert was joined in marriage to Mr. Woodrow J. Duve. Doris worked as an LVN at
Sweetbriar Nursing Home, Colonial Belle Nursing Home, Gazebo Terrace Nursing Home and Brenham Manor. She enjoyed growing flowers in her yard, crafts, baking,
decorating for every holiday and she loved her animals. Doris Ann Duve passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 in Bellville.
Doris is survived by her husband, Woodrow J. Duve of New Ulm, sons,
Woodrow A. Duve and wife Cynthia of New Ulm, Bruce Duve and wife Wilma of Oak Hill, Brian Duve of
Nelsonville, Darryl Duve and wife Kim of Montgomery and Rodney Duve of Corpus Christi, sister, Annie Mae Beiersdorfer of Houston, grandchildren, Taylor Duve,
Corrina Duve, Travis Duve, Kristi Jones, Melissa Invik, April Schultz, Bruce Anson, Klara Mae Usher, Richard “Bubba” Usher, Kacie Dennis and Robert Chance
Duve, great grandchildren, Aiden James Jones, Alessio Thomas, Bailey Alexis Wheeler, Taylor Kinard and Mackenzie Groth.
Preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Ann Seifert and brother-in-law, Vernon Beiersdorfer. Posted by Joy Neely
