Obituary for Carolyn Hackemack

Funeral services for Carolyn Hackemack, 66, of Industry were held at 10 a.m. Thursday Aug. 14, 2008 at the Welcome Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Hargis officiating.
Interment was at the Richter Cemetery in Round Top.  Friends called the Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel in Industry Wednesday from 11 a.m. -8 p.m. and family received friends from 6-8 p.m.
Carolyn Sue Hackemack was born July 24, 1942 in Venita, Okla., the daughter of Jack and Mae (Graff) Watlin.
She married Harlie Hackemack on Feb. 2, 1963 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She worked for the West End Water Supply for over 30 years and was a member of the Welcome Lutheran Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Hackemack passed away Aug. 10, 2008 at the age of 66 years and 16 days. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: her husband Harlie Hackemack of Industry; sons, Rodney Hackemack and wife Sharon of Bellville; Kenneth Hackemack and wife Meredith of Pearland; grandsons, Britt and Ryan Hackemack; granddaughter, Taylor Hackemack sister, Barbara DiMaggio and husband Robert of Antioch, Calif.; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Welcome Lutheran Youth Organization or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
