Jessie Ray (Martin) Hardesty, was born Dec. 16, 1937, in Rogers, Ark.

Jessie married Cecil Martin, and together they raised three children, Debbie Suprean, Terri Martin and John Martin.

After Cecil passed away, she married Kenneth Hardesty.

Jessie was the grandmother of Damian Danos, Terry Suprean Jr., Peter Suprean, Jessica Martin, Rachel Martin, John M, Martin, Joey St. Perrie and Christian St. Perrie. She was also the great grandmother of Alieyah Danos and Kane Rollins Martin. Beloved mother-in-law to Terry Suprean and Charlotte Dexter Martin.

Jessie is preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Martin, daughter, Terri Martin and daughter-in-law Charlotte Dexter Martin.

She passed away on Nov. 12, 2008, at the age of 70 in Houston,.

Jessie was a resident of Bellville for the last 11 months, residing with her daughter Debbie and son-in-law Terry Suprean. She will never be forgotten.

The visitation was held on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, from 9-11 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville.

Funeral Service followed at 11 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Villard Hunter officiating. Interment was held in the Cat Spring Cemetery.

Schmidt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
